1. The customer completes the application The
customer completes the
New Services Application and submits
it to the New Services Engineering office along with the following documents:
- Plat maps and engineering plans for all utilities
- Road way designs
- Plans on an AutoCad disc
- Voltage and electrical load requirements
- Joint trench participants
2. Tacoma Power's New Services Engineering group prepares the following.
Response time is approximately two weeks.
- Reviews plans and makes a site visit.
- Prepares the design and
Agreement, and calculates
the project cost and engineering deposit.
3. The deposit is paid by the customer.
4. Engineering completes the following:
- The detailed electrical design and plans.
- The preliminary construction drawing is sent to the customer, public agencies, and other
utilities.
5. The customer provides full payment.
- Payment must be paid in full before the construction drawing is completed and released
for construction.
- The customer must submit any revised plans prior to Engineering's release of the
construction drawing.
