Electrical Plan Review
Electrical plan
review is part of the inspection process in Tacoma Powers inspection
jurisdiction. Plan reviews are required on all educational,
institutional, and health care facilities as outline in State of
Washington’s rules WAC 296-46B-010. In Tacoma Power's
service area, all services 400 amps polyphase
and above that are either new or have substantial load changes on the
distribution system also need to go through this process. A set of these
approved plans are to be on the job site for use during the
construction and inspection processes.
Plans that are
submitted for this process need to include the information as outlined in the
application and instructions below. Plans will need to include a filled out
copy of the application.
